Step-by-Step Process

Use the iFixit Opening Picks to pry open the plastic back of the smartphone.

**Be careful of pulling too hard the fingerprint sensor cable is connected to the plastic back** (see second picture)

Remove the covers with the screwdriver.

**Be careful with touching anything with the screwdriver in the motherboard**

Now that we have the covers removed the phone back should look like this

Before continuing we need to remove the fingerprint sensor.

While you can use the Spudger. I used the iFixit Opening Tool for this video example.

Use the Spudger to detach the main board cable gently

Move to the battery cable
