Step-by-Step Process
Step 1:
Remove the back cover of the device by applying light pressure toward the outer rim and display.
Step 2:
Remove 7 (size 4 M1 4*3.5) and 4(size 6 M2 6*4.5) screws using P5 hex screwdriver.
The M2 screws are shown in red.
The M1 screws are shown in orange.
Step 3:
Gently separate the display from the chassis.
Slowly spread the display and chassis until the inside of the device is reachable.
Do not pull apart.
Step 4:
Using the [https://www.ifixit.com/Store/Tools/Spudger/IF145-002-2|spudger ] tool, release the top flex ribbon from the light swap package.
Step 5:
Use a nylon spudger to pry off the speaker and speaker gasket.
Step 6:
Put a new speaker back into the speaker gasket.
