Step-by-Step Process
Step 1:
First unscrew the screws on the back. Also the ones in the upper corners and remove the cylindrical covers. Remove the battery, there are screws underneath. Flip Notebook, open the lid.
Step 2:
Slide the top cover with the speakers towards the screen, flip it and unclip the flat band cable. lay it to the side. Gently remove keyboard, flip it towards you and remove the flat band cable! lay it to the side.
Step 3:
Remove the power jack cable, unscrew the metal holder of the power jack and take out the whole cable. Insert the new cable. The new cable in the holder has to be pretty flat to be screwed on again. Screw everything back together and your golden.
