Step-by-Step Process
Step 1: Preparing Glove Box
First, find and open the glove box.
Remove all objects inside to ease removal of glove box.
Step 2: Disconnecting Glove Box
Find the arm on the right-hand side.
Pull arm off connector.
Step 3: Disconnecting Glove Box (cont.)
Pull the right side of the glove box to the left. The peg should come out of the cavity.
Step 4: Disconnecting Glove Box (cont.)
The left peg should come out with little to no effort.
The glove box should come out easily.
Step 5: Disconnecting Glove Box (cont.)
Place glove box aside.
Find the air filter cover above the A/C module.
Step 6: Accessing Air Filter
Pinch one of the clips and pull one of the sides out partially.
Pinch the other clip and pull off the air filter cover.
Step 7: Removing Old Filter
Pull out used air filter.
Step 8: Installing New Filter
Insert new air filter into cavity.
Make sure the air direction arrows are pointing up.
Replace air filter cover.
Step 9: Reattach Glove Box
Line up bottom clips of glove box with clip receivers.
Do not force the clips into the receivers. If you are having trouble, attach the left clips first, then pull the glove box up and the right clips will automatically attach themselves.
Do not expect a "snap" when reattaching; the clips will go into their place when the glove box is pushed up.
Step 10: Reattach Glove Box (cont.)
Push the glove box up until the plastic pieces on the sides catch the cavities, and the glove box can no longer fall out.
Reattach right arm to connector.
