Step-by-Step Process
Step 1:
On the inside of the driver’s side door is a latch the pops open the hood of the car. Pull the latch.
Underneath the hood is another latch to open the hood. Pull this latch and lift up on the hood of the car, revealing the engine.
Use the arm to keep the hood of the car propped open.
Step 2:
The car battery is placed on the right side, under the hood.
Step 3:
Use the pliers to loosen the negative (-) cable from the battery. Then loosen the positive (+) cable from the battery.
Gently remove the battery, and place it aside.
Step 4:
Take your new battery and place it where the old one was. Secure it into place with the plate, connect the negative (-) cable to battery. Then connect the positive (+) cable to battery.
