Step-by-Step Process
Step 1:
Make sure your vehicle is turned off and has been idle long enough so it is cooled down if you recently used your vehicle.
Unlock the hood of your car by pulling the latch inside of your vehicle.
This does not require you to turn on your vehicle and will not completely open up your hood.

Access the headlight assembly by pushing against the latch under the front of the hood. The hood of the car will not go up unless you release it using the latch.
Step 2:
Locate the bulb housing on the right side or left side of your vehicle depending on which one you are replacing first.
Step 3:
Turn the headlight bulb housing until it's loose.
Remove the headlight bulb housing from the socket.
After removing the bulb, you should see an empty socket.
Make sure to turn and lock the replacement bulb in place until secure.
Step 4:
Lift the light bulb straight up to remove it from the socket.
The bulb does not require unscrewing to remove it.
Repeat Steps 1-4 for the other headlight bulb.
Step 5:
Turn on your car and the headlights to rest the newly replaced bulbs.
Some cars have the lights set on "Auto" and if you're testing them during the day they will not turn on automatically.
