Step-by-Step Process
Step 1:
Adjust wipers in an upright position.
Lay out microfiber cloths on the windshield.
This is optional.
Step 2:
Push the wiper blade downwards, and twist it counter-clockwise out of the hook.
Step 3:
Remove the wiper blade off the hook completely.
Place the hook on the windshield (or microfiber cloth) carefully to avoid windshield damage.
Step 4:
On the other side, push the blade towards the hook, allowing you to twist the wiper into position and tighten.
Step 5:
Pick up the wiper and twist the blade clockwise to remove it from the hook.
Step 6:
Make sure to have the appropriate wiper blade sizes: 16" wiper blades for the passenger's side and 26" blades for the driver's side.
Hook the driver's side blade into the opening.
Pull the blade away from the hook to tighten.
Step 7:
On the passenger side, place the hook inside the opening and push the blade towards the hook. Ensure tightness.
Step 8:
For the rear wiper, simply pull the tab towards you and extend the wiper blade.
Step 9:
Twist and pull the wiper blade towards you, releasing the blade from the wiper handle with ease.
Step 10:
With a new blade, align the wiper handle and insert it into the blade.
Once inserted, snap the blade into the handle.
