To unclip the air filter cover, you must first take off this tube, connected to the top.

Undo the hinges at each side of the cover.

Put a little bit of pressure down and they should unclip easily.

Shift the cover forward and it should come off. Have two hands on it, one at the front and the back to jimmy it out easier.

Do not worry about holding onto it after taking it off.

Keep the cover up enough to slide the air filter right out of the cover box.

Insert the engine air filter you've acquired into the previous air filter's slot. It should fit like a glove once slotted properly.

Ensure that the marked sides align properly, or else it won't fit no matter which way you put it.
