Remove the 2 circular knobs toward the back of the box (on the left and right sides) and turn them counterclockwise.

Remove the arm holding the glove compartment up.

It is located on the outer right side of the glove box.

Move to the right side of the glovebox and gently pop off the black retaining arm by pulling it towards the right.

Gently lower the glovebox to the floor.

It should hang in the position shown.

Squeeze the two tabs on the left and right end of the black rectangular casing behind the glovebox and pull the air filter cover off.

Step 6:

The air filter should now be exposed. Remove the air filter and replace with a new one.

Cabin air flows top to bottom (your old filter should be dirty on the top to illustrate this). Most filters will have an arrow on the side indicating the direction of the airflow, which would be down. Install the new filter accordingly.
