Step-by-Step Process

Step 1:

Pull the Hood Latch lever inside the car, located under the steering wheel.

Lift the hood while pressing up on the lever under the front of the hood.

Step 2:

Lift up the hood prop rod and insert it into the hole on the underside of the hood.

Step 3:

Use a 1/4" ratcheting wrench and a 10mm socket to loosen the bolt on the negative terminal head.

Lift the terminal up off of the battery and place it to the side.

Step 4:

Use the clip remover tool to pry the clip up to remove it.

Step 5:

Use a 1/4" ratcheting wrench and a 10mm socket to remove the three bolts.

Step 6:

Use a 1/4" ratcheting wrench, a 6" extension and a 10mm socket to remove the last bolt.

Step 7:

Gently pull the headlight out.

Step 8:

Press the tab on the connector and pull. Do this for all 4 connectors.
