Step-by-Step Process

Go inside your car and press the “CAR” button on the control panel.

Scroll down using the control wheel to "Windshield wipers".

Press the center button on the control wheel to select the option.

Press the center button on the control wheel to edit the service position.

In the drop-down menu, switch it from "off" to "on" by scrolling with the control wheel and pressing the center button.

The windshield wipers will now be in the up position.

You should be able to lift the windshield wipers towards the windshield at 90 degrees.

Lift the windshield blades to about 120 degrees.

In the packaging for the Michelin windshield wipers, the wipers are pre-installed with a top-lock connector.

Raise the pre-installed top-lock connector.

Pinch the bottom of the connector to release the cover and remove the top-lock connector.

The Audi A4 uses a “Top Lock-Narrow” connector.

Install the new "Top Lock-Narrow" connector onto the base connector.

Press down until it clicks into place.

Install the blade into the blade arm, sliding the new wiper blades down until it clicks and is locked into place.

Make sure to install the 24 inches wiper blade on the driver side, and the 20 inches wiper blade on the passenger side.

Install the new connector cover by pinching the base of the connector.

Close the connector cover on both sides of the wiper blades.

Remove the yellow wiper protector on both blades.

Put the wiper back on the windshield

Set the windshield wiper service position back to "off".
