- Adhesive strips or glue

Step-by-Step Process
Step 1:
Open the glove compartment in the passenger seat area.
The cabin air filter is located behind the glove compartment.
Step 2:
Carefully detach the support bar from the glove compartment.
Step 3:
On the side on the glove compartment there is a sign to push inward.
Use both hands to push inward to release the plastic holders on both sides.
Carefully lower the glove compartment down.
Step 4:
You will have access to the filter compartment and cover.
Pinch the right side of the filter cover and pull toward you; it should come out with ease.
Be aware of the signs on the cover when replacing it in Steps 7-9.
Step 5:
Pull the compartment completely out.
Step 6:
Pull out the old filter from the compartment.
Step 7:
Grab your new filter and place it into the compartment.
On the side of the filter, there are signs of the direction the filter should be placed in the direction of airflow. If placed incorrectly, your A/C will not filter the air well.
Pinch to adjust the filter in the compartment.
Step 8:
Insert the compartment back into the filter compartment.
Make sure you put the compartment upwards in the direction the arrow is pointing.
Step 9:
Place the cover back on the filter compartment.
Follow the arrow to appropriately place the cover in place.
Step 10:
Do not forget to attach the support bar back to the glove compartment.
You can close the glove compartment. The plastic holders should click back to place.
Step 11:
You have finally replaced the cabin air filter!
