Insert the wide end of a spudger into the the bottom of the key fob and with a gentle twist, pry open the case.

Don't apply too much force or pressure to avoid damaging the key fob.

Once the case is open enough to get your fingers in the seam, use your hands to separate the top and bottom of the fob.

Use a spudger to remove the old battery from the holder.

Replace the CR2032 battery, ensuring the positive side ( + sign) is facing down.

Before you put the key fob back together, make sure the battery is seated fully and correctly.

Align both halves of the case and press them together.

You should hear a snap when they connect.

Slide the emergency key back into the holder until you hear a click indicating it's locked in place.
