🔧 Repair Overview
Tire Rotation is one of the most common repairs for 2013 Nissan Rogue. This repair involves replacing the damaged tires component with a new or refurbished part. The process typically takes 30-45 min and requires easy skill level.
What You'll Need
- Replacement tires part (OEM or aftermarket)
- Precision screwdriver set (Phillips #000 or pentalobe)
- Opening tools (plastic spudger, suction cup)
- Adhesive strips or glue
- Clean workspace with good lighting
Step-by-Step Process
Step 1:
Park the car in a safe area and turn off the engine.
Open the hood of the car by pulling the lever with the car emblem that's located at the bottom left of the driver's side.
Once propped open, use the support stand located on the interior of the hood and bring it down, inserting the support stand into the hole located on the frame of the vehicle.
Step 2:
In this case, we will be replacing the low-beam headlight on the driver's side.
Put on gloves.
Step 3:
Turn the base of the bulb half a turn, counterclockwise and pull it out.
Press the release point of the bulb up to release the bulb from the base. The bulb will slide out, allowing for an easy exchange.
Compare the new and the old bulb to confirm that they are identical.
Step 4:
Place the new bulb into the base, pressing down firmly until a click is heard.
Step 5:
Place the bulb back into the outlet the same way it was pulled out.
Turn the base half a turn, clockwise, into the outlet to put it back into the headlight.
Pull lightly on the base to make sure it is secured.
Step 6:
With the hood still up, turn your key to the accelerator (or ACC) and turn the lights on to ensure all of the headlights are working.
Close the hood slowly, making sure it is secured.
Once confirmed the light is working, your car is now safe to use on the road.
