🔧 Repair Overview
Tire Rotation is one of the most common repairs for 2013 Honda Accord. This repair involves replacing the damaged tires component with a new or refurbished part. The process typically takes 30-45 min and requires easy skill level.
What You'll Need
- Replacement tires part (OEM or aftermarket)
- Precision screwdriver set (Phillips #000 or pentalobe)
- Opening tools (plastic spudger, suction cup)
- Adhesive strips or glue
- Clean workspace with good lighting
Step-by-Step Process
Step 1:
Turn your vehicle off and put the emergency brake on before you begin the repair.
Pull the tab beside the driver side footwell to release the hood.
Pull the tab locking the hood upwards.
Pull the hood up to its maximum position.
Step 2:
Attach the hood strut in its designated position.
The headlight bulbs can be found on the left and the right of the engine bay.
Step 3:
The bulb is located behind the headlight and to the left of the windshield washer reservoir.
Step 4:
Pull the bulb out from the socket.
Use a prying tool at the base of the socket to detach the bulb from the holder.
Step 5:
Attach the new LED bulb to the socket.
Don't touch the new bulb with your hands or fingers. The oil from your skin can reduce the life of the bulb or cause it to shatter.
Place the bulb in the holder and turn it counterclockwise.
Once it is firmly in place, it should not budge.
