Separate the two sides of the fob carefully.

Lay out the two sides of the fob with the interior of the fob facing you.

Remove the battery from the key fob.

Carefully insert the new battery in the battery placeholder.

Grab the other side of the key fob and make sure they're aligned with each other before snapping them back together.

Carefully close them together.

You should hear a click once closed.

Grab the physical key and insert it back into its place.
