Step-by-Step Process
Step 1:
Turn off your car, use your emergency break to secure the car and pop open the hood.
Make sure the engine is not hot before working under the hood of the car.
Step 2:
Under the hood of the car, locate a black cable towards the grille on the drivers side that leads to the back of the headlight. The bulb is located here.
Step 3:
Turn the bulb counter-clockwise using your hand and gently pull the headlight out.
Step 4:
The headlight is attached to a plug that has a clip. Push down on the clip and pull the bulb out at the same time with the opposite hand.
Step 5:
Slide the new bulb into that same plug until you hear a click.
Step 6:
Put the bulb into the same hole that it was removed from and turn clockwise until you hear another click. You are done!
