Step-by-Step Process

Pop and lift the hood by pulling the release lever below the driver's seat.

The plastic filter cover is located on the upper left corner of the engine bay.

There are four plastic screws on the air filter cover.

Twist each of the plastic screws with the half inch screw driver a quarter turn counter-clockwise。

Mind the plastic hood support while removing the plastic cover toward the right hand side.

Once plastic cover has been removed, cabin air filter cover will be exposed.

There are three 1/2" plastic bolts.

Unscrew each plastic bolt by turning a quarter turn counter clockwise.

Remove the electronic plastic connector before removing air filter cover.

Remove the air filter cover from the vehicle.

Once the filter cover has been removed two air cabin filters will be exposed.

Locate the plastic clips on each end of the filter holder

Depress the clips using your thumbs to remove the air filter.

Pay attention to Air Flow indicator arrows when reinstalling the filters.

Clip the filters back into place one side at a time.

Repeat the process for the second filter.

Reinstall the filter cover.

Re-connect the plastic electronic plug.

Re-install the plastic cover.

Mind the hydraulic lift for the hood while re-installing plastic cover.

Clean dust off the cover for good measure.
