Turn the ignition fully off and open the hood of your vehicle.

The lever to open it is on the left hand side of the pedals. It’ll make a noticeable clunk sound when pulled the first time which releases the first of the two step hood opening procedure.

Make your way to the front of the car and push up on the lever underneath the hood to fully open the hood.

Use the hood prop rod to hold the hood open for the duration of the repair.
