Step 1 - Image 2

Open the door in the driver position, and down where the pedals are you will see the stop pedal system.

You will see that there is a missing part because the pedal should push completely a white button so the break backlights can turn off. This missing part is called the pedal stopper pad.

Step 2:

Step 2 - Image 1

Proceed to disconnect the stop lamb switch for safety purposes, which is located above the white button.

This piece detects when the button is pushed and sends the information to the back lights so they can turn off.

If the button is not pushed, the car will mantain the backlights on.

Add some glue to the surface under the button and to the pedal stopper pad.

Place the new pedal stopper pad in the surface under the button with glue.

Step 5:

Release the pedal, making sure that the pedal stopper pad touches the button, and use this to reforce the pedal stopper pad with glue.

Step 6:

Step 6 - Image 1

Connect again the stop lamb switch and make sure that the pedal stopper pad touches the button when you release the brake pedal.

If it touches the button in this position, the back lights will detect that the car is not braking, so the lights will turn off.

They will turn on when the pedal is pushed, which means that the car is braking.
