Step-by-Step Process
Step 1:
Open the trunk of the car to access the tail lights.
Remove the two 5 mm screws holding the panel cover in place.
Step 2:
With a flathead screwdriver, turn the screws half a turn counterclockwise.
Step 3:
With plyers, remove the screws.
Step 4:
Pull up the trunk matt and remove it from the corner.
Pull up the panel by the tab.
The panel should lift right out.
Step 5:
You will see the light bulb holster.
Turn the dial in the middle of of the black plastic light bulb holster.
Pull the holster out of the trunk bay.
Step 6:
Grab the light bulb at the base and twist counterclockwise.
DO NOT TWIST THE BULB BY THE GLASS.
Step 7:
Pull out the bulb and repeat the process in reverse order with the new bulb to reassemble.
